13 days left

Posted by on 17 Jun 2007 | Tagged as: notices

Hello contributors to Trails Through the Greenbelt,

This is a notice reminding all contributors that as of Sunday, June 17th, there are only 13 days left to get your authorisation forms in so that your work can be included in the publication.

The authorisation form is located here.

Right-click (or CTRL+click on a Mac) on the link above, click “Save File As” (or whatever it’s called on your browser), save it to your Desktop, print it out, sign it (in pen), and mail it back to the address on the form.

If you do not have access to a printer or cannot mail it in for whatever reason, contact us here, on our MySpace, or through our MySpace group and let us know so that arrangements can be made.

The deadline is July 1st. If you do not get your form in or make arrangement to get the form in by that date, your work will be removed from the draft of the anthology, and will not be published.

Thanks to some generous benefactors, we now have enough money to publish Trails Through the Greenbelt. Our fundraising efforts will continue, since we still need some money to purchase books for direct sale when we schedule book signings and release parties. As always, we will keep you posted on further developments.

We give thanks to the following benefactors: Laura Langworthy, The Cala Family, Adrianna Goffredo, The Boyer-Shanahan Family, Jill Avedon, and Arathi Reddy.

Special thanks to Jen Carlo and Jane Butters for their fundraising efforts. Jen is making and selling beaded necklaces as I type this entry and Jane has been selling her artwork for the cause.

More to come…

Hello everybody. My name is Jack M. Freedman and I am the editor of Trails Through the Greenbelt. I think I speak for both Jen and Doug when I say that we have been working tirelessly to put together this collection.

I want to offer my thanks to Jen for putting this site together and I want to thank Doug for setting up our MySpace. Right now, the biggest priority is that we receive release forms back from you. As Jen stated previously, if you don’t submit your release form to us, we cannot legally publish your work. We’ve received forms from 47 authors so far. The following 5 authors need to submit their forms:

Linda Acevedo

Thomas J.

Justin Lussier

Skep Poet

Tom Tripo
