Correction

Posted by on 09 Feb 2008 | Tagged as: events, notices, promotion & publicity, status updates

I have 150 copies of TTtG on hand, so if you’d like to pick up some copies, e-mail me at jfreedman@si.rr.com to arrange how you’d like to receive the book before we sell it at the release party.

There is a correction that needs to be made. We were not able to secure the Greenbelt Nature Center, but we are still on our feet looking for more appropriate places to have our official release party. We have a few places in mind, so I will surely keep you updated on whatever developments take place. Thank you for your patience.

Our first customer

Let me clarify that even though people have committed to buying the book, credit will go to Delores Jordan of Mobile, Alabama for being the first person to officially purchase Trails Through the Greenbelt. I know that in the future, we will have many more customers.

TTtG is online and ready to be sold

Ordering the books

Posted by on 17 Jan 2008 | Tagged as: notices, promotion & publicity

We need to know how many books we need to order. So far, from the outreach that we have done, we can order at least 53 books. We know you’ll want to order more, so please contact me on MySpace or via this site to advise us on the number of copies you would like to order. The book is $14.95 plus sales tax. If you do not respond before the release party, we will order one copy on your behalf, since I am assuming the authors will want to see their name in print, and I think that’s a safe assessment. If you are not able to purchase a copy of the anthology in person, you will be able to order it at any online book retailer (B&N, Amazon, Borders, eBay, etc.) However, we prefer that you order the books from , since there will be a greater amount of royalties that may allow us to finance a second volume. Thank you for your cooperation.

New links

Posted by on 14 Jan 2008 | Tagged as: promotion & publicity

We now have two new links on the TTtG website. They are the MySpace Music pages for Doug (Sacrificial Poet) and myself (Mashiach Adom.) If you have MySpace, please add us and let us know what you think about the voices behind the craft. You can find us on the Links section towards the bottom of the right-hand side of the page. Thank you for your support!

Another chapbook update

Doug and I have reached our goal of 20 exquisite corpses, but we do plan on writing some more. We really want to ensure that we have the best quality of writings that we can possibly have. We’ve already weeded out one particular poem, where somebody (I won’t mention any names), totally missed the point of the exquisite corpse and took whatever was poetic about the piece and dropped a deuce on it. There was also one where we had something good happening with a lot of people getting in on it, and it totally devolved into the bowels of madness, and I’m definitely not talking about the madness that is often experienced by your humble editor. Anyway, we still have a bit of work to do on this front, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.
